Organising Your Kids Clothes in Separate Closets

If it is sometimes a headache to raise several kids, it can be double the effort to mind about their clothes, shoes and other clothing materials. After all, kids tend to be careless and sloppy, if not downright disorganised, with their garments.

So, for the benefit of peace and order in your home, it is only wise to install separate closets for each of your kids. The rationale behind this is that you make each of your kids accountable for their closet. They have to familiarise and properly arrange (after you teach them how) their own clothes. If something is missing, it is their responsibility to find it.

The type of closet or cabinet - whether it is a filing cabinet or built into the wall - does not really matter much as long as it is easy to reach by your kids. If your children are in one room, try to allot considerable spacing for their closets. Better yet, you can install the closets right near the bedroom area of a kid. The essential thing really is to show them how to organise their stuff and to stick to it no matter what.

Take note that this can be a little hard for them to digest at first, so you need to constantly remind and show them the proper ways to organise their clothes. You can also provide some incentives whenever they perform their duties well.

All in all, your house would improve a lot once those closets are installed and your children learn how to use them.
